Job Introduction
Are you an organised and detail-driven finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a Banking Administrator to join our group finance team, where you will play a key role in managing multi-currency payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring smooth daily cash operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with internal teams and external banking partners to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.
Main Responsibility
In this role, you will be responsible for processing multi-currency payments and receipts, ensuring transactions are accurately allocated and properly authorised. You will oversee daily cash management, ensuring that company bank accounts remain within agreed banking limits while maintaining up-to-date records through electronic banking systems.
You will also play a vital role in the month-end and year-end reconciliation process, ensuring all bank accounts are accurately balanced. Additionally, you will liaise with banking partners, to support operational requirements and resolve any banking queries. As part of a collaborative finance team, you will also contribute to process improvements, helping to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency.
Our Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and experience working with online banking systems. You will have strong attention to detail, particularly when dealing with high-volume transactions and foreign currency payments.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is beneficial, as is the ability to work efficiently under deadlines. You should be a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for improving financial processes, alongside excellent communication skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external banking partners.
