Associate Global Director of Shopper Marketing

Job Introduction

Are you passionate about shoppers and category?  As our WG&S business continues to grow, we are developing our category & shopper marketing capability and putting in place globally consistent processes and ways of working, as key enablers of innovation, creativity and brilliant execution within our marketing and commercial teams. The Associate Global Director of Shopper Marketing has a critical leadership role to play to unlock incremental growth opportunities using category, shopper and channel insights and develop effective activations across our portfolio of brands that drive conversion through brilliant execution in market.

Main Responsibility

You will lead the Global Shopper Marketing team and work closely with global brand teams to develop shopper marketing insights, leveraging these to identify shopper missions/occasions, barriers and relevant channel activation opportunities and create appropriate shopper conversion activations that are clearly & effectively presented in toolkits that markets leverage to execute at scale.  You will lead the development of shopper marketing capability globally so that this becomes a strength for WG&S.  You will work with key markets to drive quality & scale of execution of global programs, leveraging M&E to optimize global guidance ongoing.

You are passionate about shoppers and category.  You are an expert in this function & how it fits into a CPG organisation and you are able to influence senior stakeholders to raise the profile and drive the agenda of shopper marketing as a key enabler to long term business growth.  You are able to build strong relationships and flex your influencing style to successfully drive and embed change within an organisation, understanding where to hold the line & where to flex.  Your natural working style is pro-active and constructive, working in collaboration with teams from different functions and markets to achieve the best results for WG&S. You have a strong external focus and bring this into your work, driving future growth opportunities & setting a high benchmark for best practice.
