Application Support Analyst (Finance and Admin)

Job Introduction

We have a fantastic opportunity, within the GTS Business Product Team, for an experienced Application Support Analyst for a 12 month fixed term contract, to support, administer and deliver the required business applications and associated projects in line with business requirements and service level targets.

Main Responsibility

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include;

  • Business As Usual System Support of Central Functions systems e.g. IFS, HR related systems
  • Support the ongoing delivery of the new Balance Sheet Reconciliation tool
  • Support testing for the upgrade of SharePoint 2019 across Finance & Central Services
  • Support our e-signature application
  • Support the delivery of new SharePoint requests across Finance & Central Services

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Operational, Commercial and Group Finance process knowledge from an ERP (preferably IFS) perspective
  • Strong communication, process, logical thinking and organisation skills – individually driven to deliver results
  • Ability to work across the team organisations and cultures – team player
  • Capability to capture and develop high level requirements
  • Understanding of software and project Development Lifecycles and IT Service Management
  • Strong time management skills in order to balance workload
  • Complies with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role
