Job Introduction

We are seeking a results-oriented Accounting Manager to lead the general ledger and tax functions within our finance organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial results while maintaining compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company accounting policies. This role will be critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and strengthening the integrity of our accounting processes.
Main Responsibility
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the monthly general ledger close process, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Reviewing and approving balance sheet reconciliations and partnering with the Controller and CFO to validate reported financial results. You will also collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure the accuracy of all tax-related balances and compliance with reporting requirements. Planning and compliance are key processes you will also coordinate for the Accounting team, and, as a leader of the team, you will serve as a subject-matter expert to provide guidance and training to the Accounting team members.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in general ledger management, strong technical knowledge of Accounting, Tax US regulations, Accounting Systems, Microsoft office suite, and excellent analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical accounting expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
